As wedding season is starting up and the weather is finally warming up I thought I would remind you of Michigan’s wonderfully freezing winter. Actually, I really don’t want to even think about winter; but this weekend Lisa and Jeff will be getting married and I am so excited for their wedding so I wanted to share some images from their engagement session. Lisa really wanted to have their session at a barn and thanks to some help from my friend and fellow photographer Leah, we found some that she loved! Let me just tell you that these two deserve an award. It was soooo cold that day and they did not complain once. Armed with hot chocolate and hand warmers, we braved the deep snow, cold temps, and wind and we had a blast doing so. Here are some of my favs from their session.
Then Lisa really, really, REALLY, wanted to get up to the top of this barn. There wasn’t exactly a ladder so the two of them worked together and “MacGyvered” a way up. I am very impressed that Jeff didn’t say no half way through. It was very entertaining and mildly scary to watch. Then Lisa realized she might be afraid of heights 😉
After that we decided to go dancing in the streets before they went to grab a bite to eat. Thank you so much guys for being so fun!! I couldn’t be happier for the two of you!
I look forward to your wedding this weekend! I know it will be amazing!!
I have to also include some out-takes from our session. This was during a Warm -up break! haha. Jumping to stay warm. I can’t thank you guys enough for being so awesome about the conditions!!
