Lindsey and Craig are such a beautiful and fun couple; their venue is one of my favs, and the weather was a perfect as perfect could be for a Michigan day in April, so yeah I would say it was a pretty great way to kick off the wedding season! Both bride and groom got ready at the Marriott Renaissance Center in Detroit and had their first look there, as well as pictures of the two of them and family formals. (I always recommend getting as many photos as you can done before the ceremony so that the time after the ceremony can be enjoyed with guests!) The ceremony and reception were held at The Waterview Loft-Port Detroit. I love this venue because it is beautiful, has tons of natural light, a killer view, and their staff and food is amazing!
As you look into their day you will find beautiful details, that took the day from a gorgeous wedding into a classy reception where everyone had so much fun! Florals and decor including lounge seating from Emerald City Designs were spot on! Lindsey’s Dad was hoping for a great picture of the two of them dancing and let me say he made it easy for me to capture that! Thanks to Dj Double Trouble the dance floor was always full, and the photo booth from Detroit Photo Bar was a hit! Add in the outstanding late night snacks including chicken and waffles, branded sliders, and smores and there was certainly something for everyone!
Lindsey and Craig, thank you again for having us capture your wedding. It has been AMAZING working with you guys! You both are wonderful individuals and when you get together you’re magic. Enjoy all your adventures together!
