Michael and Deanne. Married!

Mar 26

You know the kind of people that you instantly have a great time with and feel like you have been friends forever?  The kind that make you feel like you are a part of their family? Yeah, that is how these two are and we couldn’t be happier to have met them and photograph their wedding.  They were married on a beautiful (and very cold) day in January. Everything about their day was just wonderful and filled with so many details and actions that showed how much love they have for each other.  When we arrived at  their house where Deanne was getting ready we knew we were going to have an awesome day, and an awesome day was had indeed.

I headed out to the guys who were waiting at the church while Dave stayed with the ladies.  I always love to see the difference from the hustle and bustle of the girls getting ready compared to the guys who are ready in ten minutes and just chilling.

Deanne and Michael did not want to see each other before the ceremony but they did want to talk to each other and calm their nerves.  This is them holding hands and talking before, I have to admit it was really cute to see them so nervous and excited about getting so close without peeking!

Let the emotions go on!  Deanne’s dad was so sweet and it was heartwarming to see the two of them laughing and having their moments before the ceremony.

After the ceremony we braved the cold armed with hand warmers, furry boots, and fur stoles!

Their reception was at Villa Penna in Sterling heights.  They had it set up just beautiful!! But my favorite part of the night was that Michael and Deanne decided to have their very “first” dance alone. Just them (well and the dj, me, and the guy pouring champagne) before the guests arrived.  I love when brides and grooms take time to themselves on their wedding day, it is so important to do, and I thought this was the perfect way for them to really enjoy their day.

Dave was hoping it would snow so he could pull this shot off and luckily just before we were about to leave the snow started falling and we couldn’t have asked for a better ending to the night.
